The managers of Thallos Cave House and Apartments, are constantly informed about the developments of COVID-19 by the National Public Health Organization (EODY) and we adapt our operating policy, always ensuring the health and protection of our guests and our partners respectively, in full compliance with the general and specific protocols established by the competent government authorities for the accommodations of our category.

In particular:

  • We keep a service and events log to enable communication with the close contacts of any possible case of COVID-19.
  • We have special medical equipment in case of an incident.
  • Observance of arrival hours (from 16:00) and departure (by 11:00) from the rooms is mandatory. The aim is to ensure the cleanliness and disinfection of the rooms in accordance with the instructions of the EODY, as well as the natural ventilation of the space for a sufficient period of time.
  • We adhere faithfully and meticulously to the program of the cleaning of the rooms and common areas, using certified disinfectants and steam cleaners.
  • The rooms are cleaned on departure, paying particular attention to touch points. We have removed reusable items such as menus, magazines etc. from common areas and rooms. The television and air conditioning controls as well as the keys to the rooms are cleaned with a special disinfectant. Fabric surfaces (e.g. furniture upholstery) are cleaned with a steam device (temperature> 70°).
  • When entering each room, our staff uses a mask and a disposable robe as well as gloves, and is submitted to thermometry every morning, and has been informed of all safety measures that must be observed when interacting with guests (i.e. 1.5 m distance, avoid handshake).
  • We have disinfectants in every room and in common areas.
  • We disinfect surfaces and floors with special disinfectant cleaners.
  • We regularly check and clean the air conditioning units.
  • The Jacuzzis are operated always in accordance with the instructions of the EODY.

C. APPLICABLE LAW - EXTENSION OF COMPETENCE.

The resolution of any dispute that may arise from the interpretation or application of this contract or from the use of the services of thallos-santorini.gr, shall be subject to the ratione materiae jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Athens.

The applicable law is Greek law.

D. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

E. RESERVATION PROCEDURE - PAYMENT METHODS - CANCELATION POLICY

E.1 Reservation procedure

Regarding the reservation procedure, availability indications, day and room selection procedure, information about the features of the accommodation and each room, the number of people it can accommodate, the statement of the number of people you want to stay with you, check-in and check-out times, your choice to participate or not at breakfast, you must follow the steps described in the corresponding points of the website in order to make your reservation successfully. Upon successful booking and receipt of the relevant response from the enterprise, the contract for the provision of tourist accommodation/accommodation services to THALLOS CAVE HOUSE & APARTMENTS is concluded.

E.2 Payment methods

For the completion of the reservation procedure, a deposit of 25% of the total value of the stay is mandatory.

The deposit is made through a bank, using a credit or debit card, in the safe environment guaranteed by the bank of your choice.

For the deposit, please follow the steps described on the website in the field concerned.

The deposit is deducted from the total price at the time of full payment settlement.

The risk of late payments, incorrect bank details or incorrect credit/debit card details, invalid or cards with insufficient amounts is assumed by you and no deposit amount is refunded.

The website uses third party services to charge for the services it provides.

The payment mechanism of these services is governed by the relevant regulations and terms of use of the services, in conjunction with these Terms of Use.

The administrator of the website shall not be liable for any error arising from the services of third parties, for the charging of the services provided by the website. For the purchase of services from the website, users agree to charge them through third party services.

E.3 Cancellation policy.

In the case of a cancellation of reservation, the provisions of the Greek legislation, as in force at the date of the cancellation, shall apply Generally, in case of cancellation by the customer, if this is done 21 days before the agreed arrival, the enterprise is obliged to refund the entire deposit, while if the cancellation is made in less than 21 days, the deposit is not refunded and the enterprise is entitled to request half of the total amount of the stay.

In case the reservation has been made from the beginning within less than 21 days from the scheduled date of arrival, half of the deposit is refunded to the customer only if the cancellation is made before half of the time interval between the date of the reservation until the scheduled date of arrival.

In the event that exceptional circumstances for which the customer is not responsible impose this, the cancellation, even if it is made in less than the above-mentioned days, may not have the above effect (withholding of half of the deposit), after arrangement with the enterprise or if the legislation so requires.

In the event that the cancellation is made for reasons of force majeure, the deposit will be refunded in full, if requested. If you wish to transfer the reservation period after the end of the force majeure event which prevented you from staying during the initially specified period, the deposit is not refunded but is deemed to have been given for the new reservation period.

In case the cancellation comes from us, we will refund the deposit in full, if you do not wish to postpone your reservation for another period.
